Is it just me?

I have a weakness when it comes to Christmas music. I cannot stand to spend money on music or CD's or music downloads at any other time of the year. But at Christmastime? Bring it on!

I don't know what has gotten into me, but I must have a new Christmas CD each year. This year we got two! Barenaked for the Holidays and The Muppets Red and Green Christmas. Granted, one of them was almost free, but still. Last year's purchase was Gifts by Cherie Call. It's still one of my Sunday Christmas favorites.

I don't think I'm a big spender. In fact, I'm pretty frugal most of the time. But I splurge on Christmas music. It makes me happy. And I think it's something the whole family can enjoy, so somehow I feel justified in buying it. Is it just me, or does this happen to everyone at this time of the year? As much as I like Christmas, I'm glad it comes around just once a year, otherwise I might just break the bank!
