If you give Parks a spicy enchilada, he's going to ask for a drink.
When you give him a drink, he's going to say his mouth is still hot.
When he's finished with his drink, he'll ask for some medicine.
Then he'll whine and moan and complain for the rest of the night.
When he's done whining, he'll probably ask you to read him a story.
After you read him a story, he'll probably be ready for bed.
Then he'll make a big fuss about his stomach still hurting.
Eventually he'll fall asleep.
Each time he wakes up, he'll complain again about his stomach hurting.
If you make it 'til morning, you vow never to give Parks a spicy enchilada again.

oh man, that is rough! kids are so much fun!
I love that story. I've been thinking how that story applys to us as well. I'm glad these two friends have similiarities.
I love the play on "If you Give a Mouse a Cookie" it made me laugh!!!
love you all
That made me laugh. I have a kid who can't even stand black pepper so we always take something aside for him if it is spicy dinner night.
