Another reason I love Maddie

I've been working outside on the sprinklers lately. While I work, the kids ride bikes in the driveway. As cars or people pass by, Maddie screams, "Hi!" Usually the person will say "hi" back, but sometimes they just keep walking, pretending they didn't see her, or thinking she was talking to someone else. So she'll keep screaming, "Hiiiiiiii!" with more force until they finally return the greeting. I don't know if she's friendly or just persistent, but either way, I've learned to be a little more friendly from her example. She greets everyone, no matter what they look like, or how old or young they are. Somehow she's learned that when people pass by, you say hi. Before she could even talk, she'd hold her hand up and wave to everyone too. Maybe she'll end up being a little socialite. I just love this girl.
