Motivation to be a mom

This morning Maddie was a little incensed that I was eating cookies for breakfast, but she couldn't. She replied, "I'm going to be a mom so I can reach the cookies on the fridge." Motivation enough, I guess.

That's what I was aiming for my whole childhood..only my goal was to be able to go into the pantry whenever I wanted, and take whatever I wanted!
