Snowman Shuffle

I'm pretty sure our bodies aren't meant to run in freezing temperatures. I don't think they like to do it. Mine doesn't anyway. For today's Snowman Shuffle 5k the weather was actually pretty nice, but my body still didn't like it. My body also didn't like that there was a humongous hill half way through the course. I so wasn't prepared to run that, so I didn't. I walked it. At least it was an up and down hill so it took me nearly 5 minutes to go up it, and about 1 minute to get down. I finished the course in just over 32 minutes, which isn't fantastic, but it's better than I thought I'd do after 3 months of no running. I guess it's a good starting point to get ready for this summer's 180 mile relay race. Ya gotta start somewhere.
