What a weekend

I'm pretty sure Parks and Maddie are 2 of the most spoiled kids I know. They got to go to Disney on Ice with Uncle Trent and Aunt Lori last Saturday. They had a great time. Parks has already drawn endless pictures of all the characters he saw there.

Trent and Lori are troopers. They spent nearly the entire day with an energetic 2- and 4-year-old. It was so nice for us to get a break. Aaron and I accomplished more in that one afternoon than we probably could have in a week with the kids around. It was a great day for everyone.

And speaking of Trent and Lori, they received the best news ever! Last week they learned that they have been chosen to be the parents of a baby boy due in March. They have been waiting to adopt for so long. We are so happy for them and know they will be incredible parents! We are so excited for them!
