...you'll remember (or not want to). But it's life. Here are a few tidbits from our day today:
-Parks took a nap today, which he rarely does, and woke up in rare form. He was an ornery ol' bugger. He got angry because Maddie was eating a red popsicle and he wanted the red popsicle. So he had to go into the other room so he couldn't see her, because he'd get mad if he even looked at her. The he asks me to bring him a paper and marker so he can draw because he doesn't want to have to walk past the kitchen and see Maddie. I'm a nice mom, so I do it. As I give him the paper and pen I say, "I must really love you to do this." He responds, "Yeah, and you must not love Maddie". Kids. I'm sure on some level they really love each other, right?
-Maddie is still trying to master the art of potty training. It's not the best experience, but not the worst. Not to be crude, but really if I have to clean out another pair of poopy underwear, I might just go ballistic. Nothing sets me off faster than having to deal with poop. It doesn't help that Parks still has an "accident" every now and then too. And the worst part is they do their little deposit and then look at me like it's my job to clean it up. The joys of motherhood.
-Continuing his "I'm a mean brother" streak, Parks was downstairs playing. Maddie came downstairs and he immediately responded, "It was a lot funner before Maddie got here".
-My pioneering streak continued as I attempted to can salsa today. I don't know where this hair-brained scheme came from. It took all dang day and I'll be happy if I never have to chop another vegetable in my life. When all was said and done, I have 8 jars of salsa and one messy kitchen. It sure better taste dang good. That's all I have to say about that.
And that was our day today. Who knows what tomorrow may hold.

Well... Think of it this way... At least you didn't have 5 kids doing that all at once.... Ohhh poor, poor Mom!
We love M. and P. They have spice.
I hear you on the clean up of "accidents". It still gets my blood boiling.
What do you mean, Brendon? All I remember is 5 beautiful, talented, caring, helpful, perfect children. I'm such a lucky mom!
