I know that, technically, Easter isn't for one more week. But, we've already colored easter eggs, had easter egg hunts, eaten candy, and colored a bazillion Easter picutres. I guess I'm a pushover because when Parks gets so excited to do those things, it's hard for me to reign him in. So I honestly don't know what we'll do for one more week.
It really is fun to get to the point that the children understand holidays and that they get so excited for them. We had to make an Easter countdown so Parks understood that Easter is still a week away. Every day he wakes up he asks me, "Is it Easter yet?"
I guess we'll just have to spend this week focusing on the true reason we celebrate Easter. After several Family Home Evening's on the last week of Jesus' life, I guess it still hasn't sunk it. I asked Parks, "Who is Easter really about?" He responded, "The Easter Bunny!" Yeah, still some work to do there. :)

Parks is the best tell him happy easter :)
Maybe he can come over, we haven't done one thing. We need to color eggs I guess, and do something easter - ie.
I'm a boring mom sometimes.
Yeah, it just hit me yesterday that Easter was in March. What's up with that?! I've been in la-la land thinking I have a few more weeks.
