Wanna know what this is?

Yeah. It's a picture of those child latches that have been all over our drawers and cupboards for the last 6 years. And guess what? They are no more! Last week we took them all off. For me, this means something. This means that we are not expecting any more little ones running around any time soon. No more toddlers prying into dangerous places. No more little hands reaching for something they shouldn't.

I guess it's not an announcement, but it is an acceptance that we're most likely, probably, in all actuality, done having children. And I'm OK with that. I always thought we'd have a larger family. At least 4 children would be fine, thank you. Actually when Aaron and I were dating, we joked that we wanted a dozen children. Well, that's not happening. Between MS and life in general, I think two may be our stopping point. I'm sure we'll get questioned for having "only two" children, but they are enough for us. And unless something mind-blowing, or incredibly earth-shattering happens, I think that's where we'll stay. After all, they each have the personality and spunk of at least 2 or 3 different kids all wrapped up into one. So what more could we need? Yeah, we'll keep 'em.

I am not lying, this is the best picture of Maddie I could find. Someone's gotta teach that girl to look into the camera.

That's big-time! Closing a chapter or a season in our lives is hard to do sometimes.
Kendal and I use to say we were going to have 8. Whatever!
