Float or sink?

Well, after many hours of work and a lot of staples and festooning later, here's the lovely float for our local 5th of July parade. I think it turned out pretty well, all things considered. It was a fun experience, but one I hope I don't have to repeat any time soon. I think the cow was my favorite part.

We had to base our float on something from the town's history. Our float was supposed to be a representation of the local dairy co-op where farmers sent their daughters to milk cows all summer. We had some pretty cute cows. Especially one named Maddie.
