I bought it because it was on sale. It's supposed to be eco friendly because it has less phosphates or something. I've decided eco is just code for: this dishwashing detergent is craptastic. Really it is. It just sticks to whatever dirt was already on your dishes, without washing anything away. So if you're thinking of switching brands, don't switch to this one. And if by chance you do buy it, don't try to keep using it so you won't be wasting $3. Really, it's worth $3 to not have to curse every dish that comes out of your dishwasher. Believe me, I know.

Good to know. I've used the regular Palmolive once b/c it was on sale and it did the same thing. I went back to Cascade and won't ever switch.
