There's a first time for everything

This past week, Aaron and I tried making bread from scratch with nothing but a bowl, spoon, some ingredients, and a little love. :P

The good news is that if we had to, we could probably make and live off the stuff. It wasn't half bad.

It could definitely use some work, but for first timers, I'd say we did OK. Here's a picture of what our bread might have looked like if we could have taken a picture.

Alright, so ours didn't look quite that good, but at least it tasted OK.

You're ambitious! I "taught" myself how to make bread last year - I feel very empowered by it!! (although I NEED my KitchenAid....)

I've learned how to make bread this year. Took quite a bit of trial and error but finally it doesn't feel like a brick coming out of the oven.
