Books we like

Every once in awhile, we'll pick up some really great books from the library, without even knowing it. Here are a couple we've really enjoyed lately:


Where's the Dragon by Jason Hook. This book is so fun. The most magical part about it is that there are several hidden dragons all throughout the book. The illustrations are just whimsical and the story is fun too.


Sakes Alive! A Cattle Drive by Karma Wilson. What a fun book! The whole thing is one big poem. We love looking at the pictures and the text is just humorous and brilliant at the same time. We may have to give in and (gasp!) actually buy this one.
