Disney Indoctrination

We are going to Disneyland in a week or so and I've been trying to get Parks ready. He's excited. He really is, but I've been trying to teach him some of the characters, etc. He hasn't ever really been into the Disney movies. He looooves Peter Pan, but besides that, he doesn't really seem too enthralled with any of them.

So I've been trying to indoctrinate him with all things Disney. I must be doing a pretty good job, because every time he sees a Disney symbol on something, he says, "We're going to see that at Disneyland."

This past week we checked Monsters, Inc. out from the library. We watched it and I think Parks really did enjoy it. So this morning, Parks and Maddie are growling at each other (in a friendly sort of way). They're just having fun "raaaring" at each other and Parks says, "Maddie, you can be the bear, and I'll be the monstrous ink". Maybe there's still work to do.

What a fun trip. One of the few movies we have is monsters. E. loves that movie. That is why her baby is named Boo. (Boo is the little girl who comes to monsterland.) If you ever want to borrow the movie, you are welcome.
