This weekend we were able to get away and visit Aaron's side of the family. Parks calls them the Grandma and Grandpa with Toby (their dog) to distinguish them from my parents, who have no dog. Anyway, It was such a nice break to be away from home for awhile and to catch up with everyone's lives. And Parks and Maddie had a blast with their cousins. 
And we met our new nephew/cousin, who was almost 1 week old. He's a cutie. I'd forotten how small new babies are. We had such a nice time, we'll have to do it again soon!

my kids differentiat granparents that way too.
my parents are the ones with the dog. dh's parent's are the one's with the train ( a really old fisher price train that is the favorite toy)
