You learn something new every day.

Yesterday I learned how to make flapping origami birds. It's not really something I'm interested it. We just needed more decorations for our Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. The theme was Chinese New Year, so origami works, right? I figured it couldn't be too hard. Yeah right.

About 2 or 3 hours later I was about ready to give up when I happened upon this You Tube instructional video. Now I am the queen of origami bird making. ;)

I should have taken a picture of my little flock, but the cub scouts absconded with them. Oh well, now that I can make them with my eyes closed, I guess I can always make more.

Tag! You're it! Come on over to my blog, copy and paste, fill in your own answers. Can't wait to see what new things I learn about you!

That's awesome that you learned origami! The closest I ever got to folding something cool was a paper airplane.

Yeah, your birds owned mine. Seriously, my poor little crane couldn't fly if it had a jet engine strapped to it. Of course, it would burst into flames, what with being made of paper and all. Uhhh. I don't remember where I was going with this. Your origami was great. :)
